FACILITIES
In 2014, Kansas Athletics opened Rock Chalk Park, a state-of-the-art multi-sport complex that includes the new home of Jayhawk softball, Arrocha Ballpark. The 1,100-seat stadium features chair-back seating, modern dugouts, clubhouses for both home and visiting teams, batting cages, bullpens, and a press box with broadcast facilities.
The ballpark includes a Hellas Turf outfield, a clay infield, and an 11,000-square-foot climate-controlled indoor training facility with full turf, batting cages, cardio, and film rooms. Named in honor of Demostenes Arrocha, the stadium reflects a $2 million donation from KU alumna and benefactor Cheryl Womack.
Located in northwest Lawrence near K-10 and I-70, Rock Chalk Park offers free parking and accessible entry for all guests.
