Camp Info &FAQS
CAMP LOCATION
Hoglund Ballpark and the Anschutz Pavilion provide a wealth of facilities to allow for a full schedule of camp activities, rain or shine.
ENROLLMENT
Upon receipt of your deposit, a confirmation letter concerning registration times, locations, suggested clothing and equipment needed, and general camp information will be sent to you.
WHAT TO BRING
All players must bring their own baseball equipment including a pair of sneakers for the batting cage and in case of inclement weather.
COVID-19
Camps are subject to change and/or cancellation due to Covid-19 and NCAA guidelines. Prorated refunds will be given if any portion of camp is cancelled due to Covid-19. Service fees are not refundable. Keep in mind that Covid exposure is possible in situations where groups of people are congregated, and you are knowingly enrolling your child with the current Covid status.
INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
All camps will run rain or shine and there is no rain date scheduled. Players must bring appropriate footwear for any indoor activities i.e. sneakers or turf shoes.
RULES
This camp is an extension of the University of Kansas baseball program and all campers are a part of this image. Anyone not meeting the standards of our program is subject to dismissal from camp. These rules apply to all camp sessions and include any activities in the dormitory.
ATTENDANCE POLICY
All Kansas baseball camps and clinics are open to any and all entrants within the age specifications listed, on a first come first served basis. Any questions regarding camp, please email/or call.
INSURANCE AND MEDICAL CARE
A member of the KU Sports Medicine staff will be on hand to care for any first-aid situations or administer any needed treatments. Each camper will be covered by a secondary group accident insurance policy for any cost not covered by the family’s insurance. The term of the secondary insurance benefits runs for only 52 weeks from the date of injury.
ADA
Any individual needing reasonable ADA accommodations should contact the camp office 60 days in advance of the camp session.
REFUND POLICY
Any refund request must be received in writing seven (7) days prior to the first day of the scheduled camp session. All cancellations, including those related to injury, will have an administrative fee of $25.00. No refunds will be made for camps already in session.

FACILITIES
Opened in 1988, Hoglund Ballpark has been the home of the Jayhawks and is regarded as one of the top facilities in the Midwest thanks to continuous upgrades over the years—including the Jantz Development Facility, new wall padding, a redesigned clubhouse, and a new batter’s eye. Named after former KU player Forrest Hoglund (1954–56), the stadium features field dimensions of 330 ft down both lines, 375 ft to the gaps, and 400 ft to center, with a seating capacity of 2,500. Key improvements include the AstroTurf 3D playing surface (2010) to handle Kansas weather, major indoor and bullpen upgrades (2014), a modern sound system and added safety features, plus the first-base clubhouse (2009) and the Padgett Family Indoor Facility (2006) for year-round training.
